Pilot stage begins in Gulu, Uganda.
Training school teachers in Gulu, Uganda
2017
- Programs established in Uganda
- Partnership NCDC (National Curriculum Development Centre)
- Development of literacy content creation with local teachers.
2018
- Partnership with Backup Uganda
- Partnership with Saide and African Storybook initiative
- Starting implementation in Zimbabwe
- Registration of Sun Books in Uganda as a foreign NGO
2019
- Shine on Foundation becomes sponsor of Sun Books
- Reached +600 e-books and activities
- Partnership with Resurge Children East Africa- Kenya
- Partnership with the Dream School Foundation-Nigeria
- Tobias Harris becomes notable sponsor of Sun Books
- Starting implementation in Jinja and Kayunga districts in Uganda.
