Sun Books offers a variety of volunteer opportunities.
Content creator
Be part of our content creation Team. Our Content creator volunteers work in the creation of activities for children using our software.
- Age: 18 +
- Time commitment: regular commitment is preferred, 3 to 5 hours a week for at least 8 weeks
- Runs during the whole year
- Training is provided
Leader Volunteer
As our community reach grows, we increasingly need more leaders and resources to sustain our programs. You can be a volunteer who is able to travel abroad to our locations.
- Age: 18 +
- Time commitment: 3 to 5 weeks
- Locations are in Africa and America
- English teachers or primary teachers are preferred.
- Training will be provided
Literacy teacher/researcher
As our community reach grows, we increasingly need literacy teacher/researcher. You can be a volunteer who is able to travel abroad to our locations.
- Age: 18 +
- Time commitment: 3 to 5 weeks
- Locations are in Africa and America
- English teachers or primary teachers are preferred.
- Training will be provided
Marketing Volunteer
We are looking for people who have a love for reading and children, and good communication skills to help us with social media content creation to increase our online community by boosting our followers on Facebook and Instagram.
- Age: 18 +
- Time commitment: up to 3 or 5 hours per week
- You can work from home
Graphic designer
We are looking for creative people who loves designing content for children, and good skills to help us with the platform and graphic design.
- Age: 18 +
- Time commitment: up to 3 or 5 hours per week
- You can work from home
- Skills in Photoshop and Illustrator
Literacy teacher on the ground
As our community reach grows, we increasingly need Literacy Teacher on the ground. You can be a volunteer who is able to travel abroad to our locations.
- Age: 18 +
- Time commitment: 3 to 5 weeks
- Locations are in Africa and America
- English teachers or primary teachers are preferred.
